In the front of the volume is an address label of Mrs Frances Perry [a protegee and friend of Bowles], MBE, VMH, Bull’s Cross Cottage, 3 Bulls Cross, Enfield. A typescript note pasted into the rear of the volume, on paper headed ‘Roger Perry’, relates to a visit to Bitton in 1993
