Hooper Pearson, 1912, suggesting that Bowles write three or four volumes [these became the ‘My Garden in Spring’ series], W.R. Dykes, 1916, Hugh R. Beevor referring to Zeppelins [First World War], 1 Oct 1915, G.W. Loder, 1917-1920, an invitation from Major Albert Pam to a plant hunting trip, 1938, and letter from George H.
