Scope and Content

The papers include articles, typescript copies, in English and German, of Trust no fox on the green heath and no Jew upon his oath ! A picture book for big and little by Elvira Bauer (Nuremberg); typescripts of 'Recruitment of the German universities' by Charles Singer and of 'Propositions concerning the forced migration from Germany'; newspaper cuttings, including a section on the night of long knives, 30 Jun 1934; typescript copy of the speech 'Racial nationalism' by Dr Frits Clausen, leader of the Danish National Socialist Workers Party, given at the Second International Congress of Nationalists, 11 Jul 1935, and the report given to the League of Nations Committee on International Assistance to Refugees, 3 Jan 1936; the Heidelberg international university conference of 1936; correspondence of Dr Singer with the Christian News- letter, 1940-4; correspondence and papers on various subjects, including the Jewish Fellowship, 1938-44, the German universities in the 1930s and forced emigration.
