Script for Noah, a musical written by Galton & Simpson

Scope and Content

Noah was a musical theatre play written by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, in 1966. It was based on the 1930 stage play of the same name by Andre Obey, with music written by Leslie Bricusse. It was hoped that the play would reunite writers Galton and Simpson with the comedian Tony Hancock, for whom the pair had created the popular radio and television comedy series Hancock's Half Hour. The script was never produced.
