The estates, which fluctuated in size and location consisted in 1883 of 9,511 acres in Buckinghamshire, 236 acres in Oxford, 498 acres in Cornwall, 232 acres in Middlesex and 5 acres in Somerset, with a total income of 18,080 per annum. The chief residences of the dukedom were at Stowe Park, Stowe, Buckinghamshire and Wotton House, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
