Two TS letters from Gail Wine of Macmillan Publishers, described as the ‘Secretary to Julian Ashby’, both on the headed paper of Macmillan London Ltd. The first letter, dated the 3rd April 1985, refers to drawings for which Milligan was planning to write accompanying poems, and mentions ‘enclosed colour photocopies' of these. The second letter is dated the 25th March 1985 and covers the same subject, except the drawings in question in this case are by Tracey Boyd, with whom Milligan collaborated for ‘Floored masterpieces with worse verse’. MS annotations by Milligan on both letters. The second letter stapled with the other items of correspondence described below (Items 4 and 5).
