Scope and Content

Amphlett & Co. act for L.P. Elwell-Sutton in his libel case against Graves. In a letter to 'Life', part of the newspaper correspondence following the publication of 'The Rubaiyyat of Omar Khayaam', Elwell-Sutton felt that Graves had damaged his reputation as a scholar of Persian.
