Offprints of Nevill [sic] Vincent Sidgwick [transferred by Tim Powell]

Offprints of papers by Nevil Sidgwick, published between 1901 and 1945 and transferred to Lincoln College Archive by Tim Powell of the University of Bath on behalf of the National Cataloguing Unit for the Archives of Contemporary Sciences in October 2019. This series consists of the same papers as those in LC/MS/SIG/IX and has the same original reference codes, but lacks the extract from the 'Discussion on Heavy Hydrogen' in LC/MS/SIG/IX (LC/MS/SIG/IX/76), and the duplicates of several papers in LC/MS/SIG/IX. Some papers have manuscript annotations; these often consist of commentary on Sidgwick's work and its relation to subsequent scientific research, so must have been added after the papers were created, but it is not known who created these annotations. This series also contains a letter (MS/SIG/XI/1) from Tim Powell to Andrew Mussell, Archivist of Lincoln College dated 28 October 2009 regarding the transfer of the papers to Lincoln College Archive.
