Scope and Content

Transcript of a letter sent to John Simmons by Ernest Lenaerts, who was the engineer seconded from Lyons to the EDSAC project team at the Mathematical Laboratory in Cambridge (the plan discussed in the 'Electronics Machines' report of Nov 1947 ). He describes elements of his work with Maurice Wilkes.
A draft by Lenaerts follows - of a technical description of The Half Adder, evidently a chapter (no 8) of a longer manual or other documentation, including manuscript diagram.
