Meroë tomb 311: offering tablet

Scope and Content

Image of an offering tablet found blocking the door of tomb 311. The tablet depicts two libating vessels, flanked by lotus plants, pouring on to an altar top by a [lotus?] plant. There also appears to be offerings of food at each side of the altar. There is a faint cursive Meroitic inscription around the edge of the tablet. '311 M10' is written on the negative. Handwritten note with the negative states 'Album V68 Meroë 311 M10'.
