Scope and Content

General view across the sites to the west of street 920, taken from the eastern enclosure wall looking west. The circular enclosures [mud brick tree pits?] of 920 can be seen to the left. On the right can be seen sites 923 (in the foreground), 950 (left background) and 990 (right background). Appears to have been taken at the end of the last season as the railtracks have been dismantled. Album print labelled ‘Meroë Royal City N.W Panorama west’. Album print marked 'no negative see R3' and '1914'.
