Lighting rises and falls throughout, casting light and shadow effects onto backdrop. Semi-improvised sections of dance. Live music. Note: the music for earlier performances of Dipping Wings was Witold Lutoslawski’ s String Quartet (1964). In this performance the music is a Simon Waters commission (1986). Choreography has been substantially reworked from earlier performances in line with the new music.
