Administrative / Biographical History

Henry Jones, 1852-1922, was appointed Professor of Philosophy at the University College of North Wales in 1884. Previously, he had lectured at Aberystwyth and later he moved to St. Andrews and then to Glasgow. Many honours were bestowed upon him including a knighthood in 1912.

His autobiography, Old Memories was published in 1922.
