A ledger which refers to the work and wages of a small group of workmen, including a game keeper and gardener. Planting trees, trimming hedges and wiring fences, form the staple form of work. Also, there are accounts for February 1931 of haulage contractors from Betws-y-coed, as if the manuscript had been found and appropriated for their own use.
