Administrative / Biographical History

Dr D. Cecil Jones, formerly of the Department of Extra-Mural Studies, University College of North Wales, Bangor, taught and made a significant contribution to research on maritime history, archaeology and marine biology of the north Wales coast in particular. He is currently on the staff of the Centre For Applied Oceanography at the University of Wales, Bangor.
