LETTER: J. Watkins, for Matthew Winter, by order of the Special Commissioners, Office for Taxes to John Jones about the payment of duties by his tenants. He states that in order to prevent any mistakes it would better to have his tenants display the collectors' receipt before allowing them to have the duty.
