LETTER: William Thomas & Co., Liverpool to Captain Robert Jones, Amlwch enclosing a Statement of Account for the last voyage of the ship "Dominion" showing a profit for the voyage of £1832.2s. and cheque for £5 for his 1/190 share of £950. The balance £882.2s is carried forward towards paying off the unpaid capital Account the balance of which is £1581.16s.11d. which they hope to pay off next voyage. The ship sailed on the 11th inst. from Hull with a cargo of cannel coal for Rio de Janeiro at a freight of 11s.4½d per ton which is low but the best obtainable to load on the spot.
