Mentions the weather and the crops. He received a letter from Whitaker and J. Grant, Davenport in which they state that land near Ty Mawr Farm was sold for £4 an acre and they think that this land would be worth £5 an acre next year. They have built the jail on the Court HOuse Square and insured the site of dwellings, etc.
