LETTER: John Hughes Ty Mawr Farm, Holyhead to his brother William Hughes, 26 Hampton St, Toxteth Park, Liverpool. He begs him to give poor John one quarter schooling in Liverpool. A large schooner went ashore at Penrhyn Llanfwrog but fortunately no lives lost. He says his brother Thomas has run away to Dublin and from there to London. Mary wants to come to Liverpool to be a dressmaker. He finishes by enclosing a wedding ribbon for Margaret: her wedding is to be the following day.
