COPY LETTER: Clerk to the Lieutenancy to the Private Secretary to the Prime Minister 10 Downing Street, Whitehall, referring to a letter dated 6 September 1930 regarding notification by telegram of Lieutenancy vacancies. Reference had been made in the above letter to a circular issued 1 March 1918. Writer asks for a copy of this circular.
