CIRCULAR LETTER: D. A. Hardcastle, 4 Church Street, Caernarvon to [?] informing him that under the Tithe Acts and order has been made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries directing the compulsory redemption of the rent charge on certain tithe areas in pa. Llanddyfnan. He has been appointed valuer and the assessment of the redemption money and incidential expenses payable in respect of his property is £ [sum unstated]. If he is not the owner he is asked to inform him by return of post. He explains the payment of the annual rent charge while redemption is in progress. The amount now demanded is not an annual charge and he requests its payment within a month.
