William J. Hughes (d 1921) was a printer and publisher in Dolgellau, Merionethshire, printing the newspaper 'Y Dydd'. The father of Mrs Margaret Hughes, his wife, was John Williams, a wood turner at Llwyn Saw Mills. Miss Claudia Hughes was their daughter.
