The farm of Llwynwcws (or Llwyn Iockws), Llanaber, Merionethshire, was owned by Owen Holland of Conwy, Caernarfonshire, in the late 18th century, and by the Owen family of Ymwlch, near Criccieth, Caernarfonshire, in the later 19th century.
