Administrative / Biographical History

William Jones (fl. 1810-1900), served on a number of ships including William Henry of Caernarfon, Telegraph of London, Lizzie Hobley of Liverpool, and Boaz of Caernarfon, between 1869 and 1875. Jones owned the Albion Inn, Caernarfon, Caernarfonshire, and, from 1887, the Castle Hotel, later the Castle Inn, Pwllheli, Caernarfonshire. Jane Jones took over the licence for the Castle Hotel in 1901.
