CynheidreLodge was a branch of the National Union of Mineworkers (South Wales Area) representing Cynheidre Colliery.
The Pentremawr Colliery was intergrated with the Cynheidre Colliery in the 1970's. Cynheidre Colliery was closed in 1989.
