Administrative / Biographical History
Division 5 is an administrative division of the Iron and Steel Trades Confederation Executive Council and represents the distinct geographical area of Gwent and East Wales. Within Division 5 are local branches based on theworkplace unit. There were seven divisions of the ISTC in all, each with its owndivisional officer. There were also Divisional Committees which met each half year.
