Arthur Geoffrey Gilbertson (1913-1991) was High Sheriff of Glamorgan in 1970. He was born in Gellygron, Pontardawe, Glamorgan, and worked for W. Gilbertson & Co. Ltd, steel, tinplate and galvanized steel manufacturers of Pontardawe. In 1949 he joined Brown Lenox & Co. Ltd of Pontypridd, Glamorgan, becoming managing director at Pontypridd and company chairman.
