Administrative / Biographical History
Florence Letitia Austin (c. 1906-1999, née Samuel) was a milliner at James Brothers, drapers, 73 & 74 High Street. She was also an amateur singer and sang soprano solos at concerts and at Eisteddfodau. Her husband, Arthur Elliott Austin (1905-2000) was initially an iron monger by trade, becoming manager for H. Pauls Builders Merchants after the Second World War. He sang with choirs in his spare time.
