Will of William Howell of Cwmnewidd, Llanrhidian, gent., devising and bequeathing:; To his nephew John Evans, son of his sister Anne Evans, house and lands in Llanrhidian parish called Cold Harbour, and a field called Cae Cwm Rosser at Cefnbychan in the same parish, and £400, in trust for the education of his nephew's son William Evans; To his nephew John Hugh of Newton, Llanddewi, eldest son of his sister Mary Hugh, a field called Caepant (a part of Cold Harbour); To Mary William, his brother-in-law, Jenkin Evan's servant, a house and lands in the occupation of Thomas Clement; To John Evans and John Hugh, a farm at Cefnbychan, in trust for the education of Philip Evans his great nephew; To John Hugh, William Hugh his brother, and their sister Mary, wife of Matthew David, shipwright, £1000. 3 Dec. 1811; Codicil, 18 Jan. 1813 (copy made 1848)
