Probate of Will of John Borlase of Swansea, yeoman, devising and bequeathing to his friends Thomas Lott of Fforest, Llansamlet, and William Bevan of Morriston, £200 stock with shares in 3% consolidated annuities in London, £50 due to him upon bond from Rowland Prichard of Swansea, esq., and £12 from his personal estate, in trust to pay to his daughter Jane wife of John Brown of Melincryddan the interest for her life, and after her decease the capital to be split between John son of John and Jane Brown who gets half, and Richard and Mary, their other children, who get a quarter each. If they all die before their mother, then the capital goes to Mary Borlase his other daughter. made 22 Apr. 1786, proved 16 Oct. 1788
