Administrative / Biographical History
The Girl Guide movement in Wales was governed by a representative body - the Council for Wales. Besides determining broad policies, this body elected representatives to the Welsh Executive Committee, which was responsible for organisation and administration. The West Glamorgan Association has its own Execitive Committee, and covers the Swansea, Gower, Neath and Port Talbot areas.
