Contact sheets collated and kept by the National Coal Board PR Department containing photographs of collieries in south Wales. Each sheet gives details of the photographer, date the photograph was taken and subject. The majority of the sheets contain images of scenes above and below ground at individual collieries. Alongside these there are also sheets containing images of colliery villages, aerial views, opencast site, colliery horses, closed and historic colliery sites, related industries and Tredomen Computer Centre.
