Administrative / Biographical History

The Pontyrhyl, Glamorgan, branch of the Labour Party was formed on 25 April 1928. During the early 1960s the branch became known as the Bettws and Pontyrhyl Branch. In 1985, boundary changes led to the division of Pontyrhyl and Llangeinor from Bettws. The branch continued to meet until it closed in February 1988.
