Administrative / Biographical History

The Survey of Cardiff was a voluntary group established in 1988. Its aim was to produce an historical and topographical record of Cardiff, recording its development in a series of publications. The Survey Collected maps, drawings, photographs and other items relating to the city's history. It also offered assistance to others conducting research based upon Cardiff, and prepared reports on particular areas or buildings on behalf of individuals, local authorities, developers etc.
