The volume is arranged firstly alphabetically by patient name and then by admission number. Contains details of number in order of admission, name, date of admission, whether removed on trial, date of discharge or death, if discharged whether recovered, relieved and not improved, whether died, union, name and address of nearest known relative, degree of relationship, and any observations. The covering date reflects the dates of admission. As the volume is arranged alphabetically not chronologically the covering date given is approximate.
