Wrexham Gas Company, Wrexham, Denbighshire, was formed in the mid-19th century and supplied street lighting to the town. It took over a pre-existing gas plant and initially supplied 60 street lights in Wrexham. Llangollen Gas Company had a similar function in Llangollen, Denbighshire, and was formed in 1871. This collection includes minute books, annual reports, correspondence and other business papers.
