Administrative / Biographical History
As well as his involvement with the Shakespeare Memorial National Theatre movement, the Joint Council and the National Theatre, Kenneth Rae was also Director of the Brisith Centre of the International Theatre Institute (ITI). At the ITI, Yolande Bird was Assistant to the Director.
Arrangement
Although not directly related to the National Theatre project, this sub-series has been included in the collection as it documents a further aspect of the involvement of Kenneth Rae in connection with the theatrical scene during the 1940s-1960s.
