Fleming died on 4th October 1978. The folder contains letters of condolence from various directors, actors and theatres and a list of neighbours who contributed towards a floral tribute which was placed outside the door of Fleming's house on the day of her funeral in accordance with the old East End custom. It also includes correspondence concerning the Kate Fleming Memorial Trust and its trustees.
