Scope and Content

(i) The Company of Proprietors of the Undertaking for recovering and preserving the Navigation of the River Dee.

(ii) Sir John Glynne of Hawarden, co. Flint, Bt. and others.

(i) to take possession of the waste and marsh lands on the N. side of the New Channel within the manor of Hawarden and to pay (ii) in trust for the occupiers a yearly sum of £200 for ever; (ii) to make a new Bank on the S. side of the New Cutt and to maintain the sluices with an allowance from (i) for the same (plan and specification annexed), (i) to pay (ii) £600 and subsequently £50 p.a. charged on lands of (i); application to be made for an Act of Parliament to confirm the agreement.
