The Bishop of St. Asaph (The Palace, St. Asaph) to Rev. H. Eyton (Leeswood Hall, Mold): he had no reason to be dissatisfied with what Evan Jones had done to obtain what he wished to obtain neither the bishop nor the vicar of Mold could exact new duties from the incumbents of Nerquis and Treddyn [Treuddyn] as by their separation these were as much benefices as the mother church; he had nominated Mr. Howell Jones to Treddyn and the recipient should use his discretion with regard to Nerquis. 30 Aug 1818.
