Administrative / Biographical History
A library of more than 1,000 eighteenth-century French books, mostly with foreign imprints, collected by C.A. Buckmaster, was acquired by the Brotherton Library, University of Leeds, in 1950 for a nominal sum. The bibliography includes references to a considerable number of books from Buckmaster's own collection
