Anonymous manuscript translation into English prose, the text (starting on f.2r) headed: Laelius. Text continues to f.40v after which several leaves are missing, including those containing the conclusion of the translation. The remaining leaves 41-44 are reversed and inverted, ff.43v-41v bearing notes in Latin.

F.1r is headed in an early hand "A translation from Tully" and bears the ownership inscription of Richard Jackson F.S.A., with his notes "From the library of my beloved friend, the late Dr Richard Garnett C.B. 19.12.1906" and "Dr Garnett told me it came to him with Percy B Shelley's Note Books". Later owned by Walter de la Mare.
