Title deeds to the Manor and Rectory shewing descent from Raphe Gray in 1552 and escheat to the Crown c.1617 on failure of legitimate issue. The manor was then apparently granted to the Earl of Suffolk (but there is no record of the grant) from whom it was acquired by Sir Arthur Ingram.
