Series 1 - 42 consists of postcards and photographs of places in Conwy County Borough and North Wales. Series 43 - 58 are a collection of glass slides. The subjects of the slides include scenes in North Wales, England, Europe, USA and Canada as well as photos of family and friends.
The slide collection appear to be compiled from two sources, Alexander Harding Hughes [1850 - 1922] and his brother-in-law, William Arnold [1852 - 1935]. They were partners for 38 years in William Arnold's Millinery, Drapery and Novelty store.
