Collection of Photographs of the Williams family of Garth Road, Bangor

Scope and Content

The collection includes photos of Blodwen Williams, M. Williams and Annie [Williams]. The collection includes a photo album with photos dating from 1923-1929 which belonged to G. Williams [possibly Gwyn Williams]. It is unclear if there are 2 Blodwens as the only photo with 'Blod' written on it does not resemble any of the girls and women found in the nursing photos or the family album.

There is another series of photos of a Mr. T.W. Hughes; according to information given by the depositor of the collection, Blodwen Williams may have married a man named Hughes but they were not certain. This is not reflected in the photographic evidence as he appears in several photos with Annie [possibly a sister of Blodwen]. A further small collection of photos are a miscellaneous group including houses in [Bangor] which may be connected with the Williams family, two unidentified males and an army unit.

The last photo in the collection is possibly Louisa Olive, Leah and their brother John Jones. The sisters were teachers until they retired. According to information given by donor of collection, Leah Jones was a friend of Blodwen Williams. They possibly lived together when they were elderly.
