Administrative / Biographical History
The church was built in Moss Road, Askern in 1879 by the Wesleyan Methodists. It was assigned to the Priory Place Circuit in 1884 and was transferred to the Doncaster District Coalfields Mission in 1950. On its dissolution, the members became part of the Doncaster West Circuit.
