(Case Book 2). The final numbers of the unique archival identifiers for this volume refer to page numbers.
Although at first sight appearing to be the third in the series, this is clearly referred to as 'the second case book', and it more or less continues in chronological order from RET 6/5/1A, although there is some degree of overlap: patients from number 375 onwards are included, but not in consecutive numbering order. It looks in fact as though the first entries in this volume (possibly representing those who were already resident or admitted during 1828) have been entered alphabetically, beginning in 1825. After these entries, however, the volume becomes more straightforwardly chronological, running in patient number order. It continues to early 1837
