The letters are written from the Casino Building at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. They follow on from Thompson's letter of 6 June 1944, part of EMB/1/7. They discuss at length the current situation at Blackpool, particularly the Ice Show and changes necessitated by wartime restrictions on materials; problems with buildings, especially the Ice Drome and the Band Stand; and a wish to discuss with Emberton "some very big post-war schemes".
Two letters from Leonard Thompson, owner and Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach
