Administrative / Biographical History

Thomas Gayer Gayer-Anderson (1881-1960), illustrator, and Robert Grenville Gayer-Anderson (1881-1945), major, Egyptian administrator, and author, were twin brothers. Details are given in Who Was Who.

Acquisition Information

MSS. Eng. poet. d. 233-42 were deposited in the Library in 1948. The whole collection was bequeathed to the Library by T.G. Gayer-Anderson in 1960.
