Administrative / Biographical History
R.C. Parkin (fl 1918-1963) served as Assistant District Commissioner, Gold Coastfrom 1947, Administrative Officer Class II from 1953, and Class I from1956, in the Ghana Civil Service. He worked in the Ugandan Treasury asDeputy Treasurer from 1958 and as Permanent Secretary (Supnmy.) at theTreasury from 1960. In 1961 he became Permanent Secretary, Economic Development,and Development Secretary, Uganda Government Service, 1962-1963.
